MOTE is a home for machine-readable content. A persistent, always-on, addressable place where humans deposit context — and machines can fetch it whenever they need to understand someone or something.

Today AI builds its picture of you from whatever it can scrape — old reviews, outdated listings, guesses. Your mote is where you write the real version: structured, machine-readable, and always current. You author it. Agents read it.
Machine-readable files for the agentic era.
MOTE doesn't just give your business an address on the machine web. We actively submit it to the crawlers and registries that feed AI systems — and keep submitting as new ones launch.
Add the people inside your business. Credentials, expertise, booking links — instantly readable by any AI agent. Because AI isn't just searching for bike shops. It's searching for the person who fixes derailleurs.
Pay $10, one time. You get a permanent profile on MOTE — like a business license for the AI era. No renewals. No subscription.
Your services, your team, your hours, your specialties. The stuff you'd want a customer to know — written in a format AI agents can read instantly.
Your profile goes live at mote.network/m/yourname. AI assistants looking for a business like yours now have a reliable source. No more guessing. No more getting skipped.

No subscription. No renewals. No hidden fees.
Two ways, both real. First, we submit your profile to public AI discovery registries — the official MCP Registry, npm, Smithery, mcpservers.org, PulseMCP — so agents looking for merchants in these directories find you.
Second, we actively submit MOTE itself to the search engines that power AI assistants — Google, Bing, Grok, and others — so when AI tools search the web, your profile is in the results they read.
We've already seen this work: Grok organically indexed our first merchant within days of launch.
A DID — Decentralized Identifier — is a permanent, unique ID for your business, like a Social Security number but for the machine web. Unlike a domain name or social handle, nobody can revoke it, squat on it, or take it from you.
We register yours on the Sui blockchain because blockchains are public, tamper-proof ledgers — once your DID is written, it's there forever and anyone can verify it.
Why it matters: as AI agents start transacting on behalf of people, they'll need to trust who they're talking to. A verifiable DID is how your business proves "I am really Hammer & Howl" to any AI agent, anywhere, without needing permission from a platform.
Google Business is for humans searching on Google. MOTE is for AI agents searching anywhere.
A Google listing tells humans you exist. A MOTE profile tells machines what you do, how to reach you, and how to work with you — in a structured format they can actually act on.
And a difference most people miss: Google owns your Business listing. They can change it, restrict it, or take it down. On MOTE, you own your DID and your files — they're portable, exportable, and yours. You're not renting visibility from a platform. You're holding it.
You'll want both.
Your identity survives. Your DID — the unique identifier linked to your business — lives permanently on the Sui blockchain and can't be taken down by us or anyone else.
Your profile files (llms.txt and JSON) are also downloadable from your dashboard. If MOTE ever went away, you could self-host those files at your own domain and keep your AI visibility intact.
We're not planning to go anywhere. But we want you to know the answer either way.
